Knowledge Assistant commands

Save time and get consistent results by using pre-defined shortcuts for common tasks.

Updated this week

The Knowledge Assistant serves as a container for your personal team of specialized Assistants. You can think of these Assistants as different "colleagues" you might turn to for help, each with their own unique expertise and set of skills. For example, while Joy (Executive Assistant) is perfect for general office tasks and project management, Dahlia (Learning and Development Assistant) is the expert for building training content and quizzes.

Each Assistant also comes with their own pre-loaded set of commands. Commands are reusable shortcuts tailored to help you perform specific tasks. For example, when you're working with Joy (the Executive Assistant), you can enter the /summarize command to reliably generate a summary of a file or FlexDoc in seconds.

These commands provide a curated list of starting points to help you get high-quality responses from an Assistant. Whether you need to generate a quiz, polish some draft content, or go through coaching to quickly get up to speed on this season's new products, commands help you and your team do it consistently.

How commands improve your workflow

Commands help improve your daily workflow by allowing you to work more quickly, consistently, and efficiently.

Streamline processes: Perform high-value tasks like translating or creating content in minutes instead of hours.

Ensure quality: Generate professional results without spending time perfecting a prompt to get the results you need.

Improve collaboration: Ensure your entire team uses the same commands to achieve uniform results.

Inspire your users: Provide users with a clear set of starting points and ideas on how to interact with the Knowledge Assistant.

Save time: Avoid the need to memorize your favorite prompts or "re-invent" the wording for frequent requests.

Often, a command includes guidance that asks for specific information. For example, the /generate quiz question command includes guidance asking “What topic would you like a quiz question about?”

  7. Press Enter on your keyboard or click the Send icon. Send icon.

The Knowledge Assistant will run the command and provide a response.

A chat in the Knowledge Assistant. The Assistant has generated three sections. The Prompt, which is a multiple choice question. The Solution, which explains the correct answer. The Instructor Rationale, which provides an explanation for each option.

The Knowledge Assistant only recognizes a slash “/” as part of a command when it is the first character entered in the chat. Slashes typed later in a message will be treated as normal text.
