Managing the Knowledge Center

Discover how to manage the details and settings for your Knowledge Center.

The Knowledge Center is the central hub where all your content and resources (knowledge assets in Joy) live.

Editing the Knowledge Center’s settings

To edit your Knowledge Center’s settings:

  1. Go to your Knowledge Center.

  2. Click the Information icon. Information icon.

    This opens the Knowledge Center Admin panel.

  3. View the Details tab.

  4. Click the Edit icon. Edit icon.

  5. Edit the Knowledge Center’s fields and settings.

  6. Click the Save icon. Save icon.


Knowledge Center fields and settings

The Knowledge Center Admin panel features two tabs: Overview and Details.

All of the Knowledge Center’s fields and settings are found on the Details tab, organized into two sections.

Basic Info

Library Name: The name of the Knowledge Center.

About: A description of the Knowledge Center. This is a great place to give your users an idea of what types of assets they can find. For example, you can describe the purpose of the Knowledge Center or provide a summary of the information it contains.

Advanced

API ID (view only): The ID you can use to reference the Knowledge Center if you are using the Joy API.
