About the Knowledge Center

Discover how the Knowledge Center centralizes your knowledge assets, from files to FlexDocs.

Updated over 2 months ago

The Knowledge Center is the central hub where all your content and resources (called knowledge assets in Joy) live. From individual files to collaborative FlexDocs, the Knowledge Center makes it easy to manage everything in one place.

By default, assets appear in your Knowledge Center alphabetically based on their name. For added structure, you can organize your assets into folders and sub-folders, such as by department, team, or project.

How the Knowledge Center improves your workflow

The Knowledge Center is designed to alleviate the pain of managing your organization's information by providing a unified hub for your content.

Unify your knowledge in one place: Centralize your files, FlexDocs, and other assets in a single location, eliminating knowledge silos and ensuring your users always have access to the most current information.

Intelligent search: Use Joy’s robust search functionality to quickly locate specific information, FlexDocs, or files. Unlike basic search tools, Joy's search understands the meaning beyond simple keywords.

Fuel the Knowledge Assistant: The Knowledge Center serves as the information hub for your Knowledge Assistant, giving it the precise, accurate data it needs to generate answers tailored to your organization.

Assign and track training without a Learning Management System (LMS): Most knowledge bases simply house your files, but Joy helps you get them in front of the right people by allowing you to assign any file or FlexDoc in the Knowledge Center to your team as a task. Your users can view all their tasks in one place (on the Tasks page), while you can track progress without needing a separate, complex LMS.
