Every user in your Joy account has their own profile where you can find their personal details, contact information, assigned tasks, and more.

Users page
To get to the Users page, go to the Admin Center and click Users.
Each user is displayed on a separate card, alongside their profile picture, name, and title. Click a user's card to view their profile.
Viewing a user's profile
To view a specific user's profile, go to the Users page and click the user's card. This will open the User Admin panel.
At the top of the panel, you'll see the user’s name, profile picture, status, title, and the current time, adjusted for their time zone. There’s also a
More Actions icon that lets you edit the user’s details.
The User Admin panel features two tabs: Overview and Details.
Overview tab
The Overview tab tells you a bit about the user and their current tasks.
About: The user’s personal bio. For example, the user’s bio may list their job skills, employment details, areas of expertise, or fun facts.
Tasks: The user's assigned tasks. Each task displays as a card with the name of the associated Knowledge Center asset and its due date. You can view additional details for a task by clicking its card.
Details tab
The Details tab contains all of the user's information and settings. It is organized into four sections.
Basic Info
First Name: The user’s given name.
Last Name: The user’s surname.
Display Name: The name that’s shown in Joy for the user. This may be the user’s preferred name.
Pronouns: The user’s pronouns.
Title: The user’s job title, role, or position.
Division: The organizational area the user belongs to, such as their team or department.
Timezone: The timezone where the user is located.
Preferred Language(s): The language the user prefers to use in Joy.
Email: The user’s email address.
Username: What the user will use to log into Joy.
Status: Whether the user’s Joy account is active or inactive. Inactive user accounts will not be able to log into Joy.
Type: The user's level of access in the account. Owners have full access to everything and can manage all settings, users, assets, and tasks. Users can only view assets in the Knowledge Center and their assigned tasks.
Contact
Phone: The user’s main telephone number.
Mobile: The user’s mobile telephone number.
Address: The user’s address.
Coordinators
Primary Learning Coordinator: The user’s supervisor or another individual who has a direct relationship with the user.
Advanced
API ID (view only): The ID you can use to reference the user if you’re using the Joy API.
